What we believe

The Trinity
We believe there is one God manifest in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.

The Bible
We believe the bible to perfect, infallible, divinely inspired, pleanary Word of God. It is preserved perfectly in the KJV 1611 King James Bible for English speaking people. We use and support no other English version. The bible is our final authority for all faith and practice. We make every endeavor to correctly understand its teaching and seek to implement its precepts and principles in our lives.

Creation
We believe God created all things in six literal days and rested on the seventh day as recorded in the Genesis account. We reject all forms of Darwinian evolution.

The Fall of Man
Man was created in the image and likeness of God and made to have dominion over the earth. Man sinned against God by disobeying God and eating the forbidden fruit and through that sin Adam died and death passed upon all men.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ. He died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day for our justification. Salvation is received as a free gift by the individual who truly repents and accepts the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Baptism by Immersion
We believe that believers should be immersed in water after being saved. Such believer’s baptism is an ordinance but is not a means of grace. (Acts 8:36-40)

Pre-Tribulational Rapture and Millennial Reign of Christ
We believe in a pre-millennial translation or rapture of the Church. This event is described in 1Thessalonians 4:13-18. After the seven year tribulation period, Christ will reign on this earth for a thousand glorious years.

Gifts and Tongues
We do not believe in the modern day gifts of tongues and prophecies, etc. We believe the early church had these gifts but they vanished away as stated in 1Corinthians 13:8-13.

Whosoever-Will Gospel
We believe that Jesus tasted death for every man and is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to a knowledge of the truth. Yet, God will not violate the will of an individual but will use the preaching of the Gospel and most importantly the convicting power of the Holy Spirit to bring souls to Himself. We do not believe in the TULIP doctrines of Calvinism nor are we Armenian.

Eternal Security of the Believer
We believe an individual is saved eternally when he is truly born again. The Holy Spirit is given as a seal unto the day of redemption. The seed, the Word of God by which an individual is saved will remain in him forever.

Separation
We believe that the saints should be separate from the world as pilgrims and sojourners. Those, who are saved, should live holy, Spirit filled lives that bring glory and honor to our Savior and in no way brings reproach upon the Gospel.

Evangelism
We believe the church has been commissioned by our Lord to take the Gospel into all the world. We have this duty and responsibility to witness to those at home and support missionaries so they can take the Gospel where we cannot.

Marriage
We believe marriage was ordained by God to be the union of one man and one woman till they are separated by death. Sexual relations except between a husband and wife are sinful. God condemns all acts of fornication, adultery, homosexuality, bestiality and any other form of perversion. God can and will forgive and individual of these sins when they are truly repentant and come to Him for forgiveness.
